Philippe El Hage
Born in Byblos in 1979, Philippe El Hage began studying music in Lebanon. In 2000, he moved to Paris to complete his piano studies at the National Regional Boulogne-Billancourt Conservatory. He then took advanced courses for three years at the National Regional Rueil-Malmaison Conservatory under Chantale Riou, winning the First Prize/Gold medal.
After his classical studies Philippe El Hage studied Piano Jazz courses under Francois Popineau at the Ivry-sur- Seine Conservatory.
In 2007, he released his first album, “Byblos”, recorded in France, and went on tour with his new quartet, performing his own compositions – an original musical genre, open to the world, and reflecting his diverse influences: Jazz, classical harmony and oriental music.
In 2011, he released the album, ‘’Flying with Elephants’’, under Swiss Jazz label Altrisuoni. Recorded in Lebanon, mixed and mastered in Switzerland, the album featured musicians from four different countries: France, Syria, Lebanon and Switzerland.
In 2012, Philippe El Hage became the host of a weekly educational television show about music, “Piano Plays” on MTV Lebanon, the first of its kind in the Middle East.
From June 2012 to May 2014, Philippe El Hage was appointed general manager of the Yamaha Music Department in Dubai for the supervision and creation of Music Schools in the Gulf & Mena Region.
Since January 2014,Philippe El Hage is the owner and Managing Director of the ‘’Musical Expression Institute’’ , a music school and recording Studio located in Dubai- With several years of experience in music education and on stage, he personally supervises the continued training of teachers and the sound progress of courses.

In 2021 – Recording in Paris at Studio Sextan of a Trio Album « Sound Of Hope » – Piano / Percussions (Youssef Hbeisch) / saxophone (Damien Hennicker)
In 2024 - Recording at MEI Studio of ''A Confused World'' - A duo project with Youssef Hbeisch on Oriental Percussions - Under ''MEI'' Label and distributed by Inouie Distribution -
